  2. Based upon this weekends results, Mountain View ID looks really really strong. They have 14 kids who could run varsity almost anywhere. 7 who have run at the Idaho State meet (in the last 2 years). 8 kids have run under 16:30 this year. Of course, there is a long way to go, but right now I like Mountain View in the NW.

    1. I agree they looked the strongest of the NW teams this weekend. Based on my very very preliminary assessments of the major West Coast meets this weekend, I'd say that they and Summit would have finished between Ogden and Crater at Bob Firman, and neither of the teams that looked stronger at Stanford were from the NW region.

      It is early, but Mountain View certainly looks like they are in the mix for a trip to Portland.
