Jackson senior Matthew Watkins also won the individual title, running 15:58.82 to stay well clear of runner-up Matthew Park of Edmonds-Woodway (16:24.52) as well as the tight back behind him of Anthony Garcia (Jackson), Aaron Leavens (Snohomish), Sam McCloughan (Edmonds-Woodway) and Joseph Skoog (Jackson), who were all between 16:29 and 16:32.
Girls Summary: Edmonds-Woodway followed up their win at Ash Creek with a romp over the field in Langley. The Warriors placed four runners in the top seven as they won 28-92 over Redmond, with Lake Stevens a close third with 98. Individually, it was the Taylor Roe show as she made her season debut for Lake Stevens, winning the title in 18:37.91. Edmonds-Woodway duo of Yukino Parle (19:00.59) and Stephanie Wroblewski (19:01.84) finished #2-3 with Mainier senior Abbie Steinhauer (19:06.75) breaking up the E-W pack with her fourth place finish.
