Top Girls Ratings from WA Invitationals - Oct. 12

There were 3 major invitationals in Washington with potential regional implications this weekend: Hole in the Wall Invitational (Lakewood HS, Arlington WA), Richland Inviational (Carmichael MS, Richland WA) and the Tracy Walters Invitational (Audobon Park, Spokane WA). This is a list of the ROUGH ratings estimates for the top performances - I'm listing this as a gauge for who seems "NXR Caliber" if we were to base it off of this weekend's performances alone. Obviously, there are teams and individuals that did not run at these 3 meets, however a large portion of the notable teams and individuals were in attendance.

IMPORTANT: noted team standings within meet is using a 22-team Power Merge for any significantly large field (30+ teams); these will not always exactly match the official standings at the meet, such as Lincoln and Jesuit girls being reversed at Hole in the Wall. At the meet, the official scoring was 86-87 in favor of Jesuit; however, in a 22-team Power Merge including the top varsity teams at the meet, the narrow margin swings the other way and Lincoln would have topped Jesuit 81-83 (where the largest difference is including Ellensburg, who had most of their varsity in the smaller varsity division but scoring their top two runners is enough to tip the narrow scale in Lincoln's favor). This merge is necessary to compare teams across different racing divisions and to account for a more normal meet comparison (larger fields favor teams with stronger #5's, while more elite fields allow stronger front running packs to make a greater impact).
