Here are the 2A Girls District/Regional rankings heading into district/regional meets. This is based on the season best performances at Invitationals and League Championship meets only. I eliminated the runners that haven’t qualified to the best of my knowledge… let me know if I got league -> district allocations incorrect.
Times are set, as best as possible, to represent the district/region courses.

ReplyDeleteThanks! Updated this post, and I'll get to updating the related posts soon.
ReplyDeleteRotten Teas says that on the girls side, the District 7 state spots are already decided as they aren't combining with District 5/6 and get 2 spots - Deer Park and Cheney. Apparently, according to his blog, the boys side was only getting 1 berth so District 5/6 was forced to combine with them on the Boys side.
ReplyDelete"The GNL held their District Meet at Plante’s Ferry Park this afternoon which determined what 2 teams and 10 individuals move on to...well…ummm...I’m not sure what to call it…
…intially the GNL was going to be on their own with all seven teams fighting it out for 1 team and 5 individuals to State. The CWAC who has partnered with the GNL for the past few years and who has three berths this year declined to continue “Regionals.” However because the GNL boys only have one berth the WIAA stepped in and required the CWAC to join with the GNL to hold a State qualifying meet (the combined leagues have 4 berths.) The CWAC’s response was to allow the top 2 GNL teams (10 individuals) to run in the their District Meet giving them an opportunity to pick up 2 of the 4 spots. It is not a Regionals but a District Meet for the CWAC and just a State qualifying meet for the GNL..."
