The individual race was also solid with Lincoln junior James Mwaura (15:07.7) coming away with the win over Richland sophomore Riley Moore (15:12.9) and Tahoma junior Dawson Besst (15:15.5).
Girls Summary: Eisenhower junior Erica Simison (18:13.8) scored a victory over Mountain View senior Savanna Craig (18:28.9). It was a much closer team battle than the boys race, as 2A power Liberty-Issaquah scored 57 points to take down 4A's Tahoma (69). Worth noting: there were only 9 teams in the field, but 5 were state qualifiers last year: Liberty-Issaquah is the reigning 2A Champion, Tahoma finished 7th in 4A last year, Kamiak was 5th in 4A last year, Eisenhower was 13th last year and Curtis was 15th in 4A last year.
