Top WA/OR Boys Individuals - Sep. 12

North Central debuted an extended course at their Tracy Walters Invitational this weekend, and as usual their top athlete came away with the win as Justin Janke ran 15:51 to beat Jesuit’s Joshua Schumacher and Kamiakin’s Phillip Fishburn, who both crossed in 16:05. There was plenty of other great races in the PNW this weekend as Northwest Christian-Lacey’s Luke Schilter (11:28.4) and then Issaquah’s Kennan Schrag (11:27.0) took turns setting the course record at the Capital Invitational, and Sheldon’s Jackson Mestler (15:22.8) took down Camas WA’s Yacine Guermali (15:25.5) as both went under the previous course record at the Ash Creek Invitational.
